School Supplies Fundraiser

Every year we help families get the supplies they need for the upcoming school year by providing a one-stop-shop option through a company called EduKit! By purchasing an Edukit you can ensure that your student gets everything they need for their school year and help raise money for the Nixon PTO.

EduKit takes the required school supply lists for each grade from Nixon School and packages all the supplies into one easy kit. Kits will be delivered to the school and organized by the classroom teacher before the first day of the 2021-2022 school year.

Click HERE to order your kit before June 30th for the best cost savings!

Thanks from Teachers & Staff

PTO Volunteers Needed

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our committees for the 2021-2022 school year. Please reach out to us if you are interested in participating in any of the following committees:

Educational Enrichment Committee

New Family Committee

Food Pantry Coordinator

Curriculum Crafts

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Committee

Community Building Event Committee

Social Event Fundraising Committee

Spirit Committee

Treasurer - Executive Board Position

We are still looking for another Treasurer to partner with our current team. This is a difficult role for us to fill and would greatly appreciate someone stepping up to help us! The time commitment is very small and tasks include depositing and issuing checks online as well as obtaining cash boxes for events.

Please contact Haley & Janelle at if you are interested in any of these roles. We look forward to hearing from you!

~Thank you to all those who donated and supported us during National Appreciation Week! Because of you, we have been able to spoil our very deserving Teachers and Staff this year!

~Thank you to Angela Daniels and Katie Knightly for putting in many hours and hard work to make National Appreciation Week so special for our Nixon Community. We are so appreciative of how much time you have contributed to our Appreciation initiatives this year! You're the best!

~Thank you to Liz Adams, Tiffany Bonk and Rachel Nelson for helping with our Spring Book Fair!
