It's hard to believe it's August! With the new school year around the corner, the PTO is turning its attention to welcoming the newest members of our community and asking our experienced Nixon families to help us.

Join us for the first PTO Meeting of the year combined with the BooHoo WooHoo breakfast! This meeting is open for the entire Nixon community. Come mingle, grab a cup of coffee and learn about what's happening with the PTO. We are all members of the Nixon PTO!

Kindergarten Welcome Days give our new families and students an opportunity to get acquainted with the school and their new teachers. While the kiddos meet their teachers, volunteers are available to chat with incoming parents. While parents chat with teachers, volunteers get to play and do crafts with the kiddos. It's a great way to start the school year, especially if you are feeling nostalgic about those early Kindergarten memories. We've advanced your child to the next grade in the directory, but YOU need to update their teacher when assignments are made. This will NOT happen automatically. On Friday, September 18th, students without updated teachers will be marked as inactive.
Teacher Assignments are expected to be posted in Aspen on Thursday, August 20 or Friday, August 21 so keep your eyes peeled!
