Educational Enrichment

Educational Enrichment is the biggest focus area for our PTO and consists of a large portion of our annual budget. Each year the educational enrichment committee, which includes dedicated parents and teachers working together, create enrichment opportunities that enhance our children’s learning experiences and “bring to life” the core curriculum in the classrooms.  The PTO funds $25,000 annually for educational enrichment activities for all of our Nixon students.  Focus is placed on grade-based and all school programs to enhance cultural  arts, science, and many authors in residence.
