Have you updated your child’s teacher in the Directory? This is a SUPER important task that the PTO can't do for you. We’ve advanced your child to the next grade, now YOU need to update their teacher! How: my account — my profile — profile (first tab) — “click here if you are trying to update your directory information.” Teacher updated take place on the second page.  

 

Are you signed up for Newsletters? Approximately twice / month, the PTO sends out a newsletter with all of the information you need to stay on top of volunteer opportunities, activities, fundraising initiatives and more. Don’t miss out! How: my account — my profile — subscriptions (twelfth tab) — “newsletter and communications.” Check off Nixon Newsletter! You can also sign up there for other forms of communication.

3rd annual school-wide fundraiser!

 

Fun Run is back! On Friday, September 27th, students will have the opportunity to make their way around a small track that will be constructed in the front parking lot at Nixon, and earn money for our school through pledges made by friends and family. The funds we raise will help support our enrichment program to include author visits, music/civic/cultural programs, science programs, and many more! All students will receive a t-shirt and a participation prize. It will be a fun morning of activity and fundraising for our school community!

Mybooster.com will be active and ready for you to make your student's account(s) on Wednesday, September 4th! Once student accounts are made, use the easy tools on this site to email friends and family and start collecting pledges for the 9/27 Nixon Fun Run! 

The full Nixon Fun Run schedule, location details, volunteer information, etc. will be shared soon.

Our first food pantry collection for the school year will be on Friday, September 13th!

Please send your non-perishable food donations in with your student in a separate bag. Food pantry items will be sorted by our 3rd graders!
