Yearbook is now on sale through 4/15!

If you would like to purchase a yearbook, now is your chance! Please also remember to share a few framers with the Yearbook Committee so that we can help represent our Nixon students to the fullest. (Link and ID below)

CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE a Yearbook! ðŸ“š

**If you do not see your children listed to purchase for, that means you need to register your child through the PTO site. It takes a few minutes, but saves the Yearbook Committee a ton of time when sorting through yearbook orders.

***Teacher Yearbook Gift is optional, please check with your room parent if this is something they would like to incorporate into the end-of-year gift. If it is the only option for purchase, and it is not your student, that means your student is not registered in the site. Please take a minute to do so.

Here is the photo sharing information again:

Please keep in mind when you are submitting photos to keep them Nixon School Specific, and appropriate for the yearbook. Some great criteria for a photo submission of your child could be:

  • Any framers where your child(ren) is/are looking and smiling at the camera from an event (Fall Fest, Fun Run, Alphabet Parade, Field Trips, Bingo Night, Art Galla Night, Concerts)
  • Any framers from home for the First Day of School, Food Pantry/School Spirit mornings, Youth Sports in Town with kids from Nixon

With the above info in mind, here is the link for uploading a photo before the ordering window if you are itching to get them off your phone.

Thank you! The Nixon Yearbook Committee

Class of 2026 5th Grade Committee

Our fifth graders have come so far and learned so much in elementary school, and this is a great time to celebrate all of the Nixon memories they have made. To help make this year special for our children - the 5th Grade Committee is planning several fun events throughout the year. The special 5th grade activities that our children will have the opportunity to participate in include:

FUNDRAISING – 5th graders organize and execute fundraisers to pay for the 5th grade events such as the 5th grade car wash, bake sale tables and a coin competition.

T-SHIRTS – The class gets custom shirts to wear to all of their special events!

SOCIALS – 5th graders get unique social experiences like bowling, movie night and 5th grade field day!

SERVICE – Students participate in a service project in addition to their specific assigned jobs around Nixon.

END OF THE YEAR CELEBRATION – Students have a special end-of-the-year beach party to wind down their last year of elementary school!

WINGS OF WISDOM – A wonderful ceremony in June to celebrate their graduation from elementary school.

If you would like to help plan the special events for your 5th grader, please sign up on the online Volunteer Central form, and we will be in touch to coordinate volunteers. Any help is welcome!

If you or a family member would like to make a donation directly to the 5th Grade initiatives, please click HERE to donate directly the 5th Grade fund! Any donations are greatly appreciated as any money collected goes directly to the 5th grade social events throughout the year.

For questions regarding 5th grade events or initiatives please email the 5th Grade Committee Co-Chairs Kristen Clark (kmclark902@gmail.com) and Liesje Quinto (liesje.carrigan@gmail.com)
