Have you updated your child’s teacher in the Directory? This is a SUPER important task that the PTO can't do for you. We’ve advanced your child to the next grade, now YOU need to update their teacher! How: my account — my profile — profile (first tab) — “click here if you are trying to update your directory information.” Teacher updates take place on the second page.

Are you signed up for Newsletters? Approximately twice / month, the PTO sends out a newsletter with all of the information you need to stay on top of volunteer opportunities, activities, fundraising initiatives and more. Don’t miss out! How: my account — my profile — subscriptions (twelfth tab) — “newsletter and communications.” Check off Nixon Newsletter! You can also sign up there for other forms of communication.

Nixon Fall 2026 Book Fair : Starts Friday 10/16!

Preview Day takes place on Friday, October 16th and shopping begins on Monday, October 19th. Students will come home from school on Friday with their wish lists and are allowed to purchase books during their regularly scheduled library times Monday 10/19 - Thursday 10/22.

The book fair will also be open during Fall Fest on October 16th from 5:30pm-7:30p!!!

Cash, check or credit cards are accepted. Please make checks out to "Nixon PTO".

You've Been Spooked!

The Nixon PTO 5th Grade Committee is holding a spooky fun-draiser during the month of October! The fundraiser is open to Nixon families, to secretly spook another Nixon family.

How does it work? Buy a spooking slot and secretly provide the address of the Nixon family you’d like us to spook. Then, one evening in October, fun Halloween-themed decorations will mysteriously arrive on that family’s lawn, including a sign explaining that the spooking was done in good spirit by the Nixon PTO 5th Grade Committee. The decorations will remain at that home until the following evening, when they will fly off on a broomstick to the next Nixon family who’s been chosen. Signups are limited, so buy your spooking slots (no limit!) before they disappear....

Dates: Oct. 4-30, with decorations residing at homes for one day, Mondays through Fridays.
